The Legal Certificate Every Property Needs
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rates a property's energy efficiency on a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). A valid EPC is generally required when a covered residential property is marketed for sale or rent in England and Wales.
Beyond the legal obligation, an EPC is a powerful commercial tool. Higher ratings can make a property more attractive to buyers and may support eligibility for green mortgage products from major lenders. Eligible households may also access grant funding for energy improvements through schemes such as Warm Homes and ECO4.
All our EPCs are issued by fully DEA-qualified assessors, lodged directly to the government's energy certificate service, and emailed to you — typically within 24 hours of the completed assessment.

Landlord Non-Compliance Penalties

The Commercial Value of a High EPC Rating
- Higher-rated homes can be more attractive to buyers and may support green mortgage eligibility
- A stronger energy rating can be a useful marketing feature for some buyers and tenants
- Some lenders offer products with energy-performance criteria; terms vary by lender and applicant
- May access Warm Homes & ECO4 grant funding for improvements (subject to eligibility)
- Demonstrate sustainability credentials to eco-conscious tenants
